I'm Julianne

I use paint to indulge hope, curiosity and an abiding love of nature.

 

Paint can scarcely do justice to the power of unadulterated nature, but, oh, how I endeavor. Unbound by an allegiance to one medium, I celebrate nature's versatility and power with watercolor, oil, acrylic, resin and alcohol ink. In honor of my muse, I incorporate recycled materials whenever possible, sourcing scrap wood from local woodworkers, thrifted canvases, and antique books resurrected from consignment trash bins.

Above all, my creative commitment honors the latent talent within each of us and the fulfillment born of exploring even the most flippant curiosities.
